How the Map Works

The interactive map serves to provide you with a quick and easy visual tool with which to find places to visit throughout the county.

Each icon on the map marks an interesting place worthy of a visit. The map is colour coded and you can click on an icon to gain further information about your given choice. The key below indicates the categories for each of the colour icons.

Towns and villages of general interest.
Nature reserves and natural attractions.
Arts, culture and entertainment e.g. museums and art galleries.
Sporting attractions e.g. golf courses and go karting venues.
Shopping related venues and includes boutiques, shopping centres and farm shops.
Restaurants, hotels, pubs, eateries, cafes and tearooms.
Services of interest within the county.
