Our wedding winner Charlotte Townsend counts down the final weeks to her  big day with James Durrant at Ufford Park.

Well, the wedding is now so close and so much is starting to happen. The bridesmaid dresses have arrived and look fantastic and they all fit – which is a great help! I just need to get all the girls together to find shoes and jewellery.

We had our meeting with our vicar last week and put all the final details in writing and we’re getting ready for our banns to be read. We chose our hymns and readings and started going through the whole day process which, I have to admit, is making it all feel very real. Plus, the rehearsal date is set.

Claire from Silk Rose tells me that my dress is nearlydone and the matron of honour Debbie’s is also nearly done. There’s one final fitting to be done soon but I know Claire and have seen her work and know it will be fantastic.

We have a meeting with Claudia’s Cupcakes next week to go over the colour scheme and get the favours sorted. We are looking forward to meeting her.

The major news is that we are meeting up with a lady from ITV news about some filming on the day of our wedding. It is still in very early planning but they may film us as we share our special day with hte Royal couple. It’s all really exciting and very overwhelming to be honest. I can’t quite believe it, but if they are filming I need more time in the gym and running!

We are now getting everything together for the hen weekend, which I’m very excited about. Me and the girls are heading to Brighton for the weekend and I am sure they have got some surprises planned – watch this space!

We are both really lucky to have such amazing friends and family around us to help and support us in preparing for the big day, however I am still having my massages from Lizzie Johns and it’s such a stress relief. And I talk her to death about the wedding plans.

Charlotte and James won our Win a Wedding Competition in 2010 and are to be married on April 29, 2011 – the same day as Kate Middleton and Prince William.
