FANCY getting married in a castle?

Augill Castle in Cumbria celebrates a decade of hosting weddings in 2011 by offering a fairytale all-inclusive package for £10,000 – a discount of £3,000 from the usual cost.

Set in private grounds and offering decadent accommodation, and beautiful features such as its original turrets, the castle is the perfect place to play prince and princess for a day.

The package includes exclusive use of the whole castle, a choice of three rooms for the ceremony, 15 acres of gardens and grounds for drinks and canapés and photos, a spacious honeymoon suite with a bottle of champagne and chocolate-dipped strawberries for the bride and groom and afternoon tea, dinner, bed and breakfast for up to 28 guests for two nights.

Up to 10 children can be accommodated as part of the package at no extra cost and additional day guests are welcome at £50 per person up to a total party size of 40.

There is availability in every month in 2011 with mid-week nuptials open to further negotiation.
