HAIRWAYS Cutting Salon probably has one of the best views in Suffolk.

Based above the swimming pool at Ufford Park Hotel in Melton, the salon has a balcony with vistas looking out over the greenery of the golf course and beyond, creating a relaxing experience for its clients.

Hairways, which has been at Ufford Park for more than 10 years, is now run by hairdresser Emma Lawson, who took on the thriving business a year ago.

Together with her fully qualified and friendly team, Emma provides a wide range of hairdressing services including colouring, cuts, perms and Racoon hair extensions.

A particular speciality is hair updos for celebrations and weddings, with Hairways often fully booked for this service throughout the summer months.

Emma recommends that brides visit the salon one month before their wedding day for a trial appointment, bringing with them pictures of their dress and flowers, and any veils, tiaras or hairpieces they might be wearing, so they can be incorporated into the style comfortably.

It’s also recommended that brides have their hair cut six to eight weeks before the big day to diminish split ends.

Bridal hair can be styled on the wedding day either at the salon, at the bride’s home or at the wedding venue.

The salon is open from Monday to Saturday until 5.30pm (until 7pm on Fridays) and there is ample free parking at the hotel.
