The ‘English rose’ look

Feb 22nd, 2010No Comments

Q: To compliment my wedding dress I would live a classic ‘English rose’ look on my wedding day. What colours should I use?

A: English rose make-up is all about soft, pretty colours and tones. A pretty cheek colour is essential for this look. Look for a soft, pretty pink or coral blusher and apply to the apple of your cheeks.

For eyes, soft natural colours look the best.

Use a natural taupe colour on the lid, a highlighter under the brow bone and apply a glossy black mascara.

I always keep lips a pretty natural shade, but make sure that your lips are soft and hydrated before applying lipstick.

Apply Dermalogica MultiVitamin Power Firm and then apply lipstick on top.
