sponsored by Eastern Enterprise Hub
The Eastern Enterprise Hub is led by a group of business leaders who are committed to boosting the number of entrepreneurs and start-up businesses in the East of England.
The Eastern Enterprise Hub currently has four elements:
- The Enterprise Academy: teaching entrepreneurship with a difference. Starting in September 2011, it will offer 16 – 19 year-olds a level 3, BTEC in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship.
- The School for Social Entrepreneurs Suffolk: delivering people powered change. A practical course for 18-80 year-old entrepreneurs with a social conscience, which welcomed its first cohort of 20 students in January.
- The 5th Floor Business Club: student-to-business network facilitating the involvement of local leaders with the entrepreneurs of tomorrow.
- Enterprise Support: providing a clear path for entrepreneurs and enterprise to seek advice and training.
Through each of these threads, the Eastern Enterprise Hub will deliver strong support for entrepreneurs and help fulfill Enterprise Responsibility.
Enterprise Reponsibility (verb) ~ ensuring your actions have a positive impact on the entrepreneurs of tomorrow and the region’s economy.
