Environment

sponsored by Creating the Greenest County

This award seeks to recognise businesses that have built environmental considerations into their business plans – it is not just for those businesses that work in the environmental sector, but something that all businesses have the potential to win.

Whether part or all of the business is now more environmentally friendly, the judges will be looking for evidence of improvements in recycling, use of scarce resources, or reductions / eliminations of pollution.

Judges will be looking for evidence of a clearly articulated and widely communicated environmental strategy embedded into the company’s business practices together with examples of policies that improve business performance and innovative approaches to environmental management.

  • Evidence of innovative policies and approaches to environmental management
  • Knowledge and understanding of how the environmental procedures undertaken effect the world we live in
