Choose Suffolk was established in 1999 as a not for profit limited company and recent years has witnessed significant growth and change both internally in terms of resource and focus, and also externally, with regards to it’s relationship with its local partner organisations. Choose Suffolk sits alongside the offices of the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, Business Link East, East of England International Trade, NWES and the Learning and Skills Council within Felaw Maltings in Ipswich. This affords greater partnership working whilst enhancing and strengthening external relationships and additional activity locally.

It is the aim of Archant’s Anglian Business Awards, in conjunction with our main sponsor Choose Suffolk and the individual category sponsors, to recognise and reward outstanding business excellence.
The Business of the Year will be an organisation which has demonstrated its position as one of the premier businesses in the local area, having met and exceeded the individual category criteria in its chosen area.
The Business of the Year will be judged by our main sponsor Choose Suffolk along with our Executive Judge Lord Edward Iveagh, Chairman of Eleveden Farms Ltd. and a board member of EEDA. The title will be awarded by Choose Suffolk, on the night of the awards.
Only the individual category winners are eligible for this award, and they will be entered automatically. It is not possible to enter the category with a standalone entry.
Winning the overall Business of the Year is recognition of outstanding achievement in the business field.
